The Brief

Ballincollig RFC was formed in 1978 by eight rugby enthusiasts, a place where love for rugby and community spirit thrive.

The club then adopted a crest inspired by the town’s Irish name, Baile an Chollaigh, meaning “Town of the Boar.” The crest features a boar on a black and white background, topped with the three crowns of Munster—symbolising bravery, strength, and the town’s rich cultural heritage. This emblem celebrates Ballincollig’s deep roots in Irish history and folklore, embodying the town’s proud legacy.

We had the honour of developing the website for Ballincollig RFC.
